Our Process

Working with Starr helps home sellers comfortably transition their home to a house making the selling transaction less emotional.

Starr uses her proven techniques when furnishing a home to determine what furniture to use and the layout.

She might use some of a homeowner's furniture and accessories and bring in pieces to compliment the style she is trying to achieve. She also has a warehouse full of inventory to stage an entire house.

When preparing a home staging, Starr will work with the common areas, primary suite, and sometimes rooms with challenging layouts.

While every home we work with has different and unique challenges, we follow a simple and effective set of steps to ensure the best results possible:

  1. Conduct a walk-through of the property
  2. Assess existing items and layout
  3. Determine a budget, what items stay, what is removed and what new items to bring in
  4. Identify other needs or assistance required (repairs, paint, finishes, etc.)
  5. Create plan of action – a room-by-room to-do list
  6. Bring in any new items
  7. Stage the house for photos
  8. Sell
  9. Celebrate!
